Kascade grew out of Dr. Jeovanna Rios’s work in chemistry and scientific communication, and a belief that research is only useful when the person holding the results can make sense of it.

Jeovanna earned a PhD in chemistry at Duke University, with research inside the Pratt School of Engineering, then spent three years in scientific affairs, presenting to the medical and science advisory boards of hormonal-health brands on how specific compounds act in the body. Concepts she originated are now in commercial products and active clinical studies.
Underneath, the work was always the same: taking something complicated and making it legible to the person who has to act on it.
